Recording Rainfall

Under the More tab at the top of your CattleMax dashboard, you will find Rainfall**.  This area can be used to report precipitation at your ranch and other locations.  Simply click New Rainfall to enter your measurement.

Enter the date, location, amount (measurement should be as a decimal or fraction), then any comments. When complete, click/touch Create Rainfall.

Use the Rainfall Dashboard to track Month to Date, Year to Date, and All of Last year totals.  You can also choose to see all locations or just a particular location.  See your Monthly and recent rainfalls at the bottom of the screen; use this area to edit any details (clicking on the date).

Rainfall reports can be obtained under the Reports > Misc section of CattleMax. 

**Since the amount of precipitation accumulated from snowfall is dependent on various factors, we suggest you "add a new location" for snowfall entries. This will allow you to note the amount but still keep snow and rainfall amounts separate.
