Partner Connection with Zoetis

You are now able to import your Zoetis genomic test results directly into CattleMax.  

**Please Note**

  • You will need a Registered Account in order to view the data from the Zoetis import, as these values are imported as EPDs.  The data can be imported into a Commercial account; however, it cannot be viewed, as EPDs are not available in Commercial accounts. 
  • The Zoetis Genetic import will overwrite any existing EPDs you may have imported/entered from your Breed Association.  
  • You will need to have the DNA barcode field enabled in your settings and you must enter the actual DNA barcode on the animal's profile before the test results will import properly, as this is what is used to match the data.  Click on the gear icon > Account Settings > Cattle Records > make sure the DNA Barcode field is checked, and then click on Update Settings to save your settings. 
  • Please do not open the file from Zoetis until after it has been imported; opening it will cause the file to become corrupt and may result in importing errors.

Now that the DNA Barcode field is turned on and all animals have a DNA Barcode entered on their profile, we will need to turn on the Partner Integration for Zoetis. From the Dashboard of your CattleMax account, go to Settings and then click on Partner Integrations.  Select the Zoetis button to open the integration page. 

You can now attach your "ReportAllInformation" file and import.  The data can now be viewed in the EPD tab of an animal's profile page.
