Feed Lists

You now have the ability to keep track of all feeds fed on your ranch. This can be very handy when being audited for PVP programs or just to keep track of what feed you have fed in the past. To access this feature, you will want to click on the gear icon in the upper left corner of any page in CattleMax and then scroll down to "Feeds List."  The feed list feature will not keep a running inventory of feed on-hand.  

You will then want to click on "New Feed" to begin entering your feeds. 

The Name, Manufacturer, and Restricted fields are required.  The Restricted portion will be important if you are selling calves with a PVP program, and they may contain animal byproducts, antibiotics, or restricted or prohibited ingredients.  If you wish, you can add a photo of the feed tag and feed letter (required for PVP programs).  Your PVP auditor will want to see all these feed tags and letters during your ranch audit, and having them at the tips of your fingers can help save you a lot of time on audit day.  

If you marked the Feed as Archived, it will appear in the Unused Feeds list.
