Partner Connection with Datamars

We are pleased to announce a new updated partner connection with Datamars (Tru-Test). This connection enables you to import weigh scale and EID sessions directly from Datamars Livestock, saving you the time and hassle of downloading and uploading CSV files.

Ensure you have a Datamars Livestock cloud account and have uploaded sessions from your devices so they are available for this process.

Here's how to set up the integration:

From the Dashboard of your CattleMax account, go to Settings and then click on Partner Integrations.

On this page, click on the Tru-Test logo.  Please double-check that, when it opens, it mentions DML2.

Click on the green bar to start the connection to your Datamars Livestock account. You will be prompted to enter your Datamars email address and password.  Then pick the Farm Name of the account you want to connect with.  Be sure to Click Connect before you leave.

CattleMax does not store your password. After confirming that you are connected to the proper account, click Cattle on the Navigation Menu in CattleMax, then click Import Data.  On the pop-up, select the Import from Datamars DML2.

This will open the import screen where you select the area to import, check your Farm Account Name, and pick your Session, Animal Status, and Animal type.  Then click Import.

* You could be associated with more than one account, so be sure to select the correct Farm Account *

The last section allows you to match the columns from your Session import file to the fields in CattleMax.

After the column headings are matched, click Continue to Validation.  At this point, CattleMax will verify the data and notify you if any errors are found or if the data is ready for import.  If there are no errors, click Import Data to import your weights or EIDs into your CattleMax account.
