There is no charge for requesting this file from the AICA, nor is there a charge to use this feature in CattleMax.

You will need to Contact Maggie Smithee, at msmithee@charolaisusa.com or 816-464-5977.  Be sure to request the 3-generation pedigree in ZIP format for import into your CattleMax account.

Importing Your Herd File

Once you receive your herd data file from the AICA. Save it in a location on your computer that will be easy to find when the time comes.  Log into your CattleMax account, and click the Cattle menu. Then click the link for the AICA Interface.

Once the interface is open click on the link Import Herd Inventory using the Zip format.

A popup box will appear with a place to attach the file you received from the AICA.  If you have animals already in your account be sure to use the Sync feature to ensure duplicates are not made.

Click Import Animals and then give the system some time to update your records.  This import will add animals, Registration numbers, EPDs, updated performance, calving history, and Pedigree.
